Smokin' Bachelor(ette) Parties in Atlanta

If the k-lubs aren't your scene then I love the Highland Cigar Bar in Atlanta's Inman Park for a fun bachelor party idea. And it's not just a 'boys club'... even better for the girl looking for something different... I love it as a bachelorette party idea! Or if you're just looking for a fun place to start the night (then head to Midtown) it's perfect for that too.

It's the perfect excuse to dress inspired by the 1920s or to pull out whatever awesome hat you have lying in the top of your closet. The staff is awesome - friendly, passionate and knowledgeable about cigars. Even if you and your peeps aren't smokers, cigars are still a fun, unique way to celebrate.

Another idea is to treat your wedding party to a night at the cigar bar - and gift them all engraved lighters. Whatever reason you go, the comfy atmosphere, laid back staff and unique twist on a standard night out will be a memorable one.

I've got photos to post soon!

Ra Sushi: Atlanta Bachelorette Parties!

What is it about large groups of girls being attracted to sushi? If you're heading to midtown Atlanta for your bachelorette party, Ra Sushi is within close walking distance of the area. And if you have non-sushi loving friends, the menu still holds tamer (and well done!) cuisine like chicken. When you make your reservation see if you can get the semi-private room for a fun atmosphere! They also offer a prix-fixe menu for bachelorette parties called "Fling Before the Ring," which is worth taking a look, too. Ra Sushi Atlanta, 404.267.0114.

Atlanta Bachelorettes!

Marilyn said it best when it comes to bachelorette parties: "Who said nights were for sleep?" Inside these cute bags are everything a proper wild night out bachelorette party should have - a hot pink feather boa (for twirling, a bottle of water (for hydrating), gum (for keeping fresh!) and flavored lip balm (for smacking)!

Round and Round She Goes...

There's not a lot of situations where you and your friends compare…ahem, flexibility. But there's nothing racier (or… more educational?) than a pole dancing class for a fun Atlanta bachelorette party! There are two major studios in Atlanta, and Pole La Teaz is located near Buckhead. They rent the studio for private parties and it definitely will add some va-va-voom to you and your fellow bachelorette-ites moves. Even if you have some modest girls in your group, it's still easy to feel sexy in stilettos and yoga pants if there's a pole, dim lights and a fun instructor involved.
